Is there a bag restriction at Scandinavium?

We will follow the police authority's applied guidelines for the period when Gothenburg Horse Show takes place. Currently, there is a total ban on bags at large events. This means that you are not allowed to bring any type of bag, handbag, tote bag, or plastic bag to Gothenburg Horse Show.

Please note that the bag restrictions does not apply to exhibitors, accredited individuals, riders, or staff.

I need to bring a bag for medical reasons, what should I do?

Exceptions to the bag ban are allowed for individuals who need to bring a bag for medical reasons. Exceptions to the bag ban are also allowed for individuals who are accompanied by children and need to bring a diaper bag.

Will my bag be checked on-site?

Permitted bags will be checked by authorized personnel before entry.

Are there available wardrobes?

There are wardrobes at the entrances to both Scandinavium and the EuroHorse fair. Please note that it is not possible to leave bags in the wardrobes due to the current bag restriction. We recommend that you only bring items that can be stored in your pockets.

Can I bring my jacket inside?

It is okay to bring your jacket inside Scandinavium.

Can I bring my purchased items between Scandinavium and the EuroHorse fair area?

If you shop at the EuroHorse fair, bags and totes with purchased items can be brought in/out of Scandinavium via the passage between the arena and the fair area. Please note that you cannot bring bags or totes with purchased items back inside if you exit through one of the entrances.

I plan to leave Scandinavium and then return. What should I do with my purchased items?

If you have purchased items and wish to leave Scandinavium and then return, you can hang your purchased items in the wardrobe at the main entrance before you leave the arena.

Can I bring my own drink to Scandinavium?

It is not allowed to bring your own drink to Scandinavium. We encourage you to bring your own empty, transparent water bottle, which you can easily refill at one of our water stations. By using your own bottle, you contribute to reducing single-use packaging. Together we can make a difference!

Can I bring my own food to Scandinavium?

It is not allowed to bring your own food into Scandinavium. However, there is a wide range of restaurants, kiosks, and bars to cater all visitors. Here you will find everything from quick snacks to warm meals.

Can I bring my purchased items when I go to eat at one of the Gothia Towers restaurants and then go back?

It is not allowed to bring purchased items with you to eat at one of the Gothia Towers restaurants and then return. You will need to leave your purchased items in the wardrobes at the EuroHorse fair.
