Accessibility Information for Gothenburg Horse Show.
Wheelchair seats
Wheelchair seats can be booked via ticketmaster.se like regular tickets. You can also book your ticket by phone at 077-670 77 77 (phone hours weekdays 09:00-13:00).
Wheelchair seats are on the ground floor and located in row 6 in section C, D, G, J, K, R, or T. A dedicated usher is available at the wheelchair seats.
When booking a wheelchair seat, 1 free companion is included. If you need additional companions, contact Ticketmaster's accessibility line at 077-670 77 77 (phone hours weekdays 09:00-13:00). The companion can either sit on a loose chair next to you or on a fixed chair just behind. If you have other companions you want to sit close to, we recommend you that they try to book seats in row 5 in the same section as you. They will then sit in the row in front of you.
Mobility impairments without wheelchair
If you have a mobility impairment and want to avoid stairs, we recommend booking a ticket in row 6, which is on the ground floor. To reach other seating areas or the parquet, you need to use stairs. If you need crutches, it is okay to bring them to the event.
Non-visible disabilities
If you have a disability that requires extra information or support during your visit, do not hesitate to contact us at ghs@gotevent.se. Also, inform the staff on-site. We will do our best to meet your needs.
Getting to the event by public transport:
If you are traveling by public transport, the nearest stop is Scandinavium, which is right outside the arena. In Västtrafik's travel planner, you can find the best route and see which departures that have space for wheelchairs.
-
By Car: If you drive and have a disabled parking permit, there are four parking spaces right outside the arena entrance. Please note that these can quickly become occupied.
-
By Paratransit: If you are traveling with paratransit, they will drop you off as close to the arena as possible, often next to the wheelchair ramp leading up to the arena entrance. Provide "Scandinavium, Valhallagatan 1" when making your booking.
-
Entrance: There is a ramp outside Scandinavium that leads to the main entrance. You can choose whichever entrance you prefer to get into the arena.
Accessible toilets
Accessible toilets (RWC) are available in section U, B, D, and M.
Accessibility database
More information about the physical accessibility at Scandinavium can be found in the Accessibility Database.
Guide & assistance dogs
Certified assistance dogs and guide dogs for the visually impaired are allowed in Scandinavium.
Is there a quiet area during the Gothenburg Horse Show?
If you need to get away from the crowd for a while, there is a quiet area at the EuroHorse fair. If you are in the exhibition hall, go to the southern part of the paddock to reach the area, and if you are coming from outside, the nearest entrance is entrance 2.
