The world's best dressage riders in FEI DRESSAGE WORLD CUP™
We can expect goosebumps and a high WOW factor when the top dressage riders and horses enter the arena and put their best step, our should we say hoof, forward.

The FEI Dressage World Cup™ consists of four leagues around the world, with Sweden and Gothenburg included in the Western European League. Throughout the season, horses and riders earn points at various qualifiers, with the highest-ranked combinations advancing to the World Cup Final.
To follow the Western European League for the 2025/2026 season, visit the FEI website for all qualifications and the road to the 2026 Final in Fort Worth.
Several FEI Dressage World Cup™ Finals have been held at Scandinavium: in 1989, 1992, 1994, 1996, 1998, 2003, 2013, 2016, and most recently in 2019. The year 1998 became historic for Sweden when the popular duo Louise Nathhorst and Walk on Top claimed victory at Scandinavium. At the most recent final in Gothenburg in 2019, it was Germany’s Isabell Werth who took the win with Weihegold OLD.
In 2025, the audience at Scandinavium witnessed a dressage performance beyond the ordinary. Cathrine Laudrup-Dufour delivered a stunning ride, scoring an incredible 91.140% – the highest score ever recorded in Sweden. The best Swedish result came from Maria von Essen who, together with Invoice, achieved 82.495% after a strong progression since the 2024 season.
